Maria del Mar del Castillo, known professionally as Maria del Mar, is a Canadian television actress born in Madrid, Spain in 1964 and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She has appeared in numerous series such as 'Street Legal', 'Tek War', 'Relativity', 'Mercy Point', 'Terminal City', and 'Blue Murder'. Notably, her performance in 'A Touch of Grey' (2009) earned her a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Female Performance in a Feature. She was also nominated for a Gemini Award for her role in 'Blue Murder'. Known for her volunteerism within ACTRA union, Maria del Mar received the ACTRA Award of Excellence in 2024.
