Lorraine Michaels, born January 23, 1958 in Canterbury, Kent, England, moved frequently due to her father's Air Force career, living in twenty-two different states across America and attending college in New Mexico. After graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles where she worked in insurance and as a bank teller before being discovered by former Playboy model Daina House, leading to Michaels' appearance as the Playmate of the Month in April 1981. Following her stint with Playboy, Michaels had a brief acting career appearing in films like 'Malibu Express' (1985) and TV series such as 'Watching' and 'The Manageress'. She is also known for being an active member of the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation.
