Linda Denise Blair, born on January 22, 1959 in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, is an American actress best known for her iconic role as Regan, the possessed child in 'The Exorcist' (1973). She was nominated for an Academy Award and two Golden Globes for this role, winning one. Blair reprised her role in the sequel 'Exorcist II: The Heretic' in 1977. Additionally, she played Carol in the prison drama 'Chained Heat' (1983).
