Daphnée Duplaix is an American actress and model known for her roles in daytime soap operas and various television shows and films. She began her career as a model, notably appearing as the Playboy Playmate of the Month in July 1997.
Duplaix established herself in the soap opera genre, playing the role of Valerie Davis on NBC's Passions from 2004 to 2008, and later as Rachel Gannon on ABC's One Life to Live from 2009 to 2010. She has made guest appearances in numerous prime-time series such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Wayans Bros., Angel, and The Mindy Project.
In 2024, Duplaix was cast in the groundbreaking new CBS daytime drama Beyond the Gates, which premiered in February 2025. In the series, which is the first new daytime soap in over a quarter-century and features a predominantly Black cast, she stars as Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson, an empathetic psychiatrist and philanthropist.
Born in New York City, Duplaix is of Haitian, French, and Italian descent. She is a mother of four and has been married to Grady Heiberg since 2014. In addition to her acting work, she has also hosted the game show Show Us Your Wits on Playboy TV.
