Archer has acted in various films like 'Paradise Alley', 'Raise the Titanic', 'Patriot Games', 'Short Cuts', 'Clear and Present Danger', and 'Lullaby'. She also performed on stage as Mrs Robinson in 'The Graduate' (2001) and Jane Fonda in 'The Trial of Jane Fonda' at Edinburgh Festival Fringe (2014).
