Story
In 'Showgirls', Nomi Malone arrives in Las Vegas with no connections and starts working at the Cheetah Club strip joint. Her talent catches the eye of Molly Abrams, who introduces her to Goddess' headliner Cristal Connors. Nomi feels both admiration and rivalry towards Cristal and seeks to take her place. Meanwhile, Cristal's boyfriend Zack Carey takes an interest in Nomi professionally and romantically. Through Molly and Zack, Nomi gets opportunities with Goddess but struggles with the illegitimacy of it all. She also attracts the attention of struggling choreographer James Smith who cautions her about her path. Throughout, Nomi experiences the good and bad sides of Vegas life among the rich and powerful.
