Vivian Hsu, born March 19, 1975 in Taichung, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese singer, actress, and model who gained significant popularity in East Asia, particularly in Taiwan and Japan. She rose to prominence in Japan during the late 1990s following her debut in 1995. Hsu was the main vocalist for the Japanese dance band Black Biscuits, which released four top-5 singles ('Stamina', 'Timing', 'Relax', 'Bye-Bye') and one album ('Life') that reached #6 on the Oricon chart.
