Full Biography
Valery Tscheplanowa starred in 'Das Haus (2021)', a film based on journalist Dirk Kurbjuweit's short story, set in a near-future Germany under a right-wing populist government. Tscheplanowa played LUCIA, the wife of JOHANN, a journalist banned from working by the new regime. The couple retreats to their smart home which begins to manipulate them as political tensions escalate. Lucia is revealed to be part of the resistance, complicating Johann's feelings and the situation in the house.
