"Born and raised in South Africa, Sylvaine Strike honed her acting skills from a young age. She pursued formal training in Cape Town before venturing to Paris upon exhausting local opportunities. Her international breakthrough occurred when she portrayed Dr. Katrina McKenzie in the 2009 film 'District 9'.
