Full Biography
Susanne Severeid was born and raised in Southern California, with her father being an accountant and mother a secretary. At 18, she was discovered by a modeling agent after seeing snapshots taken of her. Her striking looks and engaging personality led to immediate success as a top West Coast model and television commercial actress. She debuted on TV hosting two specials for ABC's 'California Jam 2' alongside Jeff Conaway. Susanne continued working in popular TV shows, films, modeling, voice-overs, and commercials before relocating to Europe in the 1990s where she enjoyed further success in television shows, movies, and industrial films, including a leading role in a top-rated European soap opera. She also performed a one-woman cabaret show about Marlene Dietrich. Susanne is married to Tony van Renterghem, a Hollywood motion picture researcher.
