Susan Lynch, born June 5, 1971, in Corrinshego, County Armagh, Northern Ireland, to an Italian mother and Irish father, is a prominent actor from Northern Ireland. She has four siblings, including her eldest brother John Lynch who is also an actor. Lynch trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Known for roles such as Maggie in 'Nora' (2000), she won the Irish Film & Television Academy Award for Best Leading Actress for this performance. Additionally, she received the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in '16 Years of Alcohol' (2003). Lynch was listed at number 42 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors in 2020.
