Vollständige Biografie
Romi Koch was a Canadian actress best known for her haunting lead performance in the 2004 independent horror-thriller Dead Doll, directed by Adam Sherman. Born on December 18, 1978, in Ontario, Canada, she stood 5' 9" (1.75 m) tall and possessed a striking screen presence that defined her brief but memorable career. In her most famous role, she portrayed a woman whose body is transformed into a life-like doll by a fixated sculptor, a performance that required her to depict a character who lures others to their doom even from beyond the grave.
Tragically, Koch’s life and career were cut short when she passed away on August 22, 2005, in Ontario at the age of just 26. Due to her sudden departure shortly after her breakout film, much of her personal life remains shrouded in mystery, leading to her being remembered as a cult figure within the horror genre. Today, she is primarily celebrated for the eerie, ethereal quality she brought to her work, leaving behind a singular cinematic legacy that continues to intrigue fans of underground cinema.
