Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, French actress and daughter of actor Philippe Leroy-Beaulieu, was born and raised in Italy but moved to Paris at 16 to study drama against her father's wishes. She debuted on stage before appearing in Roger Vadim's 'Surprise Party' (1983). Her breakout role came in 'Trois hommes et un couffin' (1985), earning her a César Award nomination for Most Promising Actress. She then acted in various films, including 'Les Possédés' (1988) and 'La Révolution Française' (1989). In the U.S., she was known for her role in the mini-series 'Mistral's Daughter' (1984).
