Career Highlights:
Natalya Negoda, born to actor Igor Negoda and director Tamara Pavlyuchenko in Moscow, showed early interest in theater and cinema due to her parents' creative professions. After graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre studio school in 1986, she debuted on screen in Yuri Kara's 'Tomorrow Was the War' (1987). Her breakthrough role came in Vasily Pichul's 'Malenkaya Vera' ('Little Vera') (1988), where she played Vera, earning international recognition with a Nika Award and Silver Hugo at Chicago International Film Festival. Post-1990s immigration to the US didn't halt her career; after a hiatus, she starred in Alexei Mizgiryov's 'Tambourine, Drum' (2009), winning awards from Russian Guild of Film Critics and Golden Eagle.
