Full Biography
Marina Pierro, born between 1956 and 1960, is an Italian actress, model, writer, and film director known for her artistic relationship with Polish filmmaker Walerian Borowczyk. She began her film career with minor roles in the late 1970s, notably appearing in Luchino Visconti's 'The Innocent' and Dario Argento's 'Suspiria'. Pierro's first prominent role was as Sister Veronica in Borowczyk's 'Interno di un Convento' (1978). Their collaboration lasted approximately ten years, with five completed films. Since the late 1980s, Pierro has directed three short films: 'In Versi' (2008), 'Himorogi' (2012), and 'Floaters' (2016).
