Full Biography
Maria Elias, born José Maria, was a young individual who faced bullying at school due to their sensitive nature and lack of masculine drive. Their father, displeased with their behavior, sent them away temporarily. After an unsuccessful attempt by their father to 'cure' José's sexual reserve at a strip club, José fled home, eventually finding refuge in Barcelona dressed as a girl named Maria. There, they started living as Maria full-time and got a job at a hair stylist's. Later, Maria began working as a waitress at Bibí Andersen's club after the owner was impressed by her dancing skills. The owner offered Maria stardom if she would undergo a sex change operation and marry him. However, the outcome of this proposal is unknown.
