Maren Seidler played Chris Cahill, a track and field athlete with natural ability but lacking confidence, in 'Personal Best' (1982). In the film, she joins Torry Skinner's (played by Martina Norris) team at Cal Poly under coach Terry Tingloff (played by Austin Norris), after being initially denied coaching due to her subpar performance at the trials.
