"Despite Mabel Escaño's impressive three-and-a-half decade-long acting career, her on-screen nudity is limited to just two instances. You'd be forgiven for considering this a disappointing figure - and indeed it is. This Spanish siren began her journey in minor roles during the late '60s before graduating to more significant parts alongside heavyweights like Peter Fonda and William Holden in Open Season (1974). However, Mabel's sole nude scene didn't arrive until 1975, when she bared all in the comedy El Libro del Buen Amor. In the '80s, Mabel became a familiar face in many of Jesus Franco's films, with Franco - known as Spain's "Roger Corman" and longtime partner of actress Lina Romay, who frequently appeared nude herself - casting his fair share of attractive women."
