Lydia Peckham is a New Zealand stage, television, and film actress, known for her roles as the CGI ape
Soona in Kingdom of the "Planet of the Apes" (2024), Katerina in the Netflix series "Cowboy Bebop" (2021), and Melinda in the film "Only Cloud Knows" (2019).
Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Peckham moved to Nelson, New Zealand, as a child and trained at the Toi Whakaari: New Zealand Drama School. She gained international recognition with her performance-capture role in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, for which she underwent extensive physical training.
Her upcoming projects include a main role as Priscilla of Nottingham in the action-comedy television series "Robin Hood" (2025) and the historical drama film "Nuremberg" (2025), where she stars alongside Russell Crowe and Rami Malek.
