Kirstie Louise Alley (1951–2022) was an American actress, born on January 12, 1951. She gained significant recognition for her role as Rebecca Howe in the NBC sitcom Cheers (1987-1993), earning Emmy and Golden Globe awards in 1991 for this performance. Throughout her career, she appeared in various films including Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), Look Who's Talking (1989), Village of the Damned (1995), It Takes Two (1995), Deconstructing Harry (1997), and For Richer or Poorer (1997). She also starred in Veronica's Closet (1997-2000) and made several TV appearances, notably on Dancing with the Stars (2011-2012) and Celebrity Big Brother UK (2018), finishing as runner-up. Alley passed away on December 5, 2022.
