Kathy Shower, born Kathleen Ann Schrauer on March 8, 1953, is an American model and actress who gained significant recognition as Playboy's Playmate of the Month for May 1985 and subsequently became the magazine's Playmate of the Year in 1986. Notably, she held these titles at the age of 33, making her one of the oldest women to appear as a Playmate, and was also a single mother of two children at that time. Shower's career is highlighted by her role in the film 'L.A. Goddess' (1993), where she stepped into the lead role after the original actress faced alcohol-related issues during production.
