Kate Capshaw (born Kathleen Sue Spielberg on November 3, 1953) is an American actress known professionally as Kate Capshaw. Born in Texas and initially pursuing a career in education with a Master's degree in Learning Disabilities, she shifted her focus to acting after moving to New York. In 1984, she landed the role of Willie Scott in 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom', which brought international fame and led to her marriage to director Steven Spielberg in 1991. Throughout her career, Capshaw has shown versatility in films like 'Dreamscape', 'Black Rain', and 'Just Cause'. She is also known for supporting humanitarian causes and being a devoted mother to seven children.
