Julie Carmen (born April 4, 1954) is an American actress who gained prominence for her role in John Cassavetes' 'Gloria,' which earned her the Venice Film Festival's Best Supporting Actress Award. Born in Millburn, New Jersey, Carmen trained under Sanford Meisner at Neighborhood Playhouse and Uta Hagen at HB Studios. She served on the Board of Directors for Women in Film and IFP/West.
