Full Biography
Jona Xiao, born May 18, 1989 in Changsha, China, moved to New York as an infant and later settled in St. Louis, Missouri. She started acting in middle school to counter racial stereotypes she faced growing up. Xiao founded Career ACTivate to help actors advance their careers. Despite initially being cast for Spider-Man: Homecoming due to Marisa Tomei's recommendation, her role was cut from the final film. In 2021, she voiced a younger character in Raya and the Last Dragon.
