Hélène Perdrière, born on April 17, 1912 in Asnières-sur-Seine and died on August 27, 1992 in Boulogne-Billancourt, was a prominent French stage and film actress. After winning the first prize for comedy at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art in 1928, Perdrière became the first resident of Comédie-Française. She later resigned to perform with Pierre Fresnay in boulevard theaters before returning to Comédie-Française from April 1952 until its closure in December 1973. Post-retirement, she continued her theatrical career with the Renaud-Barrault Company until 1974. Throughout her tenure at Comédie-Française, Perdrière staged several plays by Marivaux and also worked as an election interpreter.
