Full Biography
Dany Carrel, born Yvonne Suzanne Chazelles de Chaxel on 20 September 1932 or 1935, is a French actress of mixed French-Vietnamese heritage. Born in Vietnam (then French Indochina) to a French father and Vietnamese mother, she began acting and eventually starred in 'La prisonnière' (1968). Carrel's career was gradually impacted by health issues starting from the eighties due to two bouts of cancer, and in 2021, she contracted COVID-19.
