Carmen Yazalde, born María do Carmo Ressurreição de Deus in Gonçalo, Guarda, Portugal in 1950, rose to fame as an actress in Spanish horror films during the early 1970s. She initially started as a folk dancer before being discovered by modeling agents and filmmakers. Her notable roles include human sacrifices in 'Tombs of the Blind Dead' (1972) and various characters in Jesus Franco's exploitation films such as 'Daughter of Dracula' (1972), 'The Demons' (1973), and 'A Virgin Among the Living Dead' (1973). After marrying Argentine soccer player Casimiro Yazalde, she moved to Argentina in 1977, where she worked as a runway model under her married name Carmen Yazalde.
