Candy Samples began her career as a pin-up model in the 1960s, appearing in numerous black and white magazines. She later worked as an exotic dancer and was featured in several men's soft-core publications like Juggs and Gent. Samples also acted in various films, including 'Flesh Gordon' (1974), 'Superchick' (1973), 'Up!' (1976), 'Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens' (1979), and 'Fantasm Comes Again' (1977). She was often credited as Mary Gavin. In 1979, she appeared in the pornographic film 'John Holmes and the All-Star Sex Queens'. Samples also participated in sexy wrestling films for Triumph Studios and Bellstone.
