April Telek was born on April 29, 1975 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She began her career as a model in Japan from 1989 to 1990 after winning a Shiseido Cosmetics contract for Asia. In 1994, she won the title of Miss Canada and represented Canada in international pageants. Telek is best known for her role as Denise in George Lopez's 'Mr. Troop Mom'. Notably, she bears a resemblance to actress Lucy Punch.
