Annette Frier, born January 22, 1974 in Cologne, Germany, is an actress and comedian who began her career studying classical acting at 'Der Keller'. She gained notable roles in German TV series like 'Hinter Gittern - Der Frauenknast' (1997) and 'SK Kölsch' (1999-2001). Frier started her comedy career with 'Switch' on Pro7 in 1998. From 2000 to 2002, she co-hosted the 'Wochenshow'. Since then, she has been a regular on improvisational comedy shows like 'Schillerstraße' (since 2004) and 'Alles außer Sex' (since 2005). She also hosted Stefan Raab's SSDSGPS in 2004 and Bundesvision Song Contest in 2005. Frier received a Golden Romy for Schillerstraße in 2006. Additionally, she starred in the theater play 'Nora' at Theater im Bauturm in Cologne.
