Anna Kendrick, born on August 9, 1985 in Portland, Maine, USA, began her career on Broadway at age twelve, earning a Tony Award nomination for 'High Society' (1998). She debuted in film with 'Camp' (2003), gained prominence through 'The Twilight Saga' series (2008-2012) and 'Up in the Air' (2009), for which she was nominated for an Academy Award.
