She acted in soft-core films in the early 1960s before establishing Evolution Enterprises to write, direct, and produce hardcore movies. Perry became the first female president of the Adult Film Association of America (AFAA), advocating for free speech despite multiple morals charges leading to arrests. Married four times, she had two children. Perry died from Alzheimer's Disease on September 11, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.
