Anamaria Vartolomei, born on April 9, 1999, is a French-Romanian actress who began her career as a child actress in 'My Little Princess' (2011). She won the Lumières Award for Best Actress and the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her role in 'Happening' (2021), and was named on UniFrance and Screen International lists of rising talents. Born in Bacău, Romania, Vartolomei moved to France at age six with her parents who had been working abroad since she was two. She attended school in Issy-les-Moulineaux and trained in acting at Cours Florent and Les Enfants Terribles.
