Amanda Michael Plummer, born March 23, 1957 in New York City, is an American actress known for her distinctive roles on stage and screen. Born to actors Tammy Grimes and Christopher Plummer, she attended Middlebury College and the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre. Early in life, she was interested in horse riding and care. Plummer began her career with smaller television and film roles before gaining recognition for her Broadway performances. She won a Tony Award nomination and Theatre World Award for 'A Taste of Honey' (1981), followed by a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for 'Agnes of God' the next year. She later received an Emmy Award nomination for her role in 'L.A. Law'. Some of her notable film roles include 'Pulp Fiction' as Yolanda ('Honey Bunny') and 'So I Married An Axe Murderer' as Rose. Her characters are often described as 'spooky, kooky, half-mad'.
