Full Biography

Brittany Anne Murphy-Monjack was born on November 10, 1977, in Atlanta and moved to Los Angeles as a teenager to pursue acting. She gained prominence for her role as Tai Frasier in 'Clueless' (1995) and was critically acclaimed for her performance in '8 Mile' (2002) alongside Eminem. Throughout her career, Murphy appeared in various films like 'Girl, Interrupted', 'Uptown Girls', and 'Sin City'. She also voiced characters in animated series such as 'King of the Hill'. Murphy died on December 20, 2009, at age 32 due to pneumonia complicated by anemia and prescription drug addiction.
