Geschichte
As the perpetually single Don Johnston (Bill Murray) gets dumped by his latest girlfriend, he finds himself at a crossroads in life. Soon after, an anonymous pink letter arrives, informing him that he has a son who may be looking for him. Inspired to find out more about this unexpected offspring, Don embarks on a journey across America with the help of his ex-girlfriend's French pen pal, Isabelle (Julie Delpy), acting as his amateur detective. Along the way, they track down Don's former flames in search of clues about the mysterious son. Each encounter brings a mix of comedy and drama, as Don reflects on his past relationships and the life he might have had with these women.
