Geschichte
Charles, a wealthy rugby tycoon living in New Zealand, believes he has been diagnosed with an incurable illness. In response, he places an ad in his French hometown seeking his long-lost sister whom he hasn't seen in fifty years. A notary clerk named Marie-Jeanne, hoping to secure Charles' fortune for herself and her dysfunctional family, poses as his sister despite knowing it's a lie. As Charles travels back to France to meet his 'sister', he discovers that he has been misdiagnosed and is actually healthy. However, by this time, the scam has spiraled out of control with Marie-Jeanne's greedy relatives involved. The film follows the comedic consequences of their deceit as they try to maintain the ruse while Charles begins to suspect something is amiss.
