Geschichte
In the year 1882, Jelena Ilka Marković finds herself widowed after her husband Jevrem is accused of participating in the Topolska Rebellion and summarily executed. Consumed by grief and a desire for justice, Jelena attempts to assassinate King Milan Obrenović as an act of vengeance. However, her plot is discovered, and she is arrested. Several months later, she is found dead under mysterious circumstances while imprisoned.
