Story
Jeux d'influence (series) begins with farmer Michel Villeneuve collapsing in his field after using a weed killer produced by agrochemical giant Saskia. He is diagnosed with leukemia, which prompts his childhood friend Guillaume Delpierre, a principled politician, to crusade for the pesticide's ban. Guillaume enlists the help of his ambitious assistant Romain Corso. They clash with Mathieu Bowman, a powerful lobbyist hired by Saskia.
