Amrita Acharia, of Norwegian nationality with Ukrainian and Nepalese heritage, was born to a Nepalese father and Ukrainian mother. Her early life involved living in Nepal, Ukraine, England, and Norway by age thirteen. Fluent in Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Norwegian, she pursued acting after finishing high school in Norway at nineteen. Acharia gained notable recognition for her role as Irri, the Dothraki handmaiden, in the first two seasons of Game of Thrones, despite her character's fate differing from the source material. She also starred in a BBC Christmas special, Lapland, in 2011.

Story
