Katherine Waterston, born March 3, 1980, is a British-American actress and daughter of veteran actor Sam Waterston. She began her career with a feature film debut in 'Michael Clayton' (2007), followed by supporting roles in films like 'Robot & Frank', 'Being Flynn' (both 2012), and 'The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby' (2013). Her breakthrough performance came with the role of Shasta Fay Hepworth in 'Inherent Vice' (2014), based on a novel by Thomas Pynchon set during the psychedelic 60s and 70s. She went on to play Chrisann Brennan in 'Steve Jobs' (2015) and star in 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' (2016) and its sequels.
