Ravshana Kurkova, born Ravshana Matchanova on August 22, 1980 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, is an Uzbek-Russian actress known for her work in theater and film since 2003. Born into an acting family, she started her career with the arthouse drama 'Kirk Kulok Siri' at age 12. Kurkova moved to Moscow, studying English at a London University branch school before attending Moscow State Pedagogical University. After graduation, she worked in television and pursued acting skills under Tatyana Pyshnova. Notable roles include Mavlyuda in 'A u nas vo dvore...' (2014), a series about migrant life, and Masha Troyekurova in the immersion thriller 'Black Russian' (2016). Kurkova was married to photographer Semyon Kurkov initially, then actor Artyom Tkachenko from 2004 to 2008. She has worked with brands like Intimissimi and Calzedonia as a representative.
