Hannah Murray, born on July 1, 1989 in Bristol, England, is an English actress known for her roles in Skins (2007–2008, 2013) as Cassie and Game of Thrones (2012–2019) as Gilly. She has been nominated for three Screen Actors Guild Awards alongside her castmates for the latter role. Murray's notable film roles include Stuart Murdoch's God Help The Girl (2014), which won a Special Jury Prize at Sundance Film Festival, and Bridgend (2015), where she played Sara, a role that earned her the Tribeca Film Festival's Best Actress Award.
