Drew Barrymore, born Drew Blythe Barrymore on February 22, 1975, is an American actress known for her role as Gertie in 'E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial'. She is a member of the Barrymore family of actors and has received numerous accolades including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Barrymore starred in 'Boys on the Side' alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Mary-Louise Parker. The film follows Jane, a nightclub singer played by Whoopi Goldberg, Robin, a real estate agent with AIDS portrayed by Mary-Louise Parker, and Holly, a woman escaping her past, seeking one-night stands, played by Drew Barrymore.
