Eddie Shneider, a successful advertising executive engaged to his boss's daughter Judy Birk, has an affair with their neighbor. After celebrating his promotion with his assistant Angelina Sable at a lunch party, they return to the garage where Angelina realizes she forgot her keys. To protect himself and his upcoming marriage, Eddie gives a false alibi for Anthony, helping him avoid accusation for the rape.
