Geschichte

Odysseus, set in ancient Greece during the 8th century BC, begins with King Odysseus of Ithaca missing after the Trojan War a decade ago. The island's economy has declined due to invading princes exploiting its resources and pressuring Queen Penelope to remarry. To stall them, she promises to choose a husband once she completes weaving Laertes' shroud but secretly undoes her work each night. Odysseus' son Telemachus, fearing the suitors' wrath if he asserts his claim to the throne, longs only to find and rescue his father.
