In the dystopian mega-city of Earth in 2070, David Hume, a smart and dedicated human detective, partners with Ian Farve, an android of mysterious origins, to investigate crimes related to powerful corporations that control the world. As detectives for the Citizens Protection Bureau (CPB), they navigate a complex society where advanced technology and moral ambiguity coexist.
Zusammenfassung
Total Recall 2070 is a Canadian science fiction television series first broadcast in 1999 on CHCH-TV and Showtime, inspired by Philip K. Dick's works but sharing no major plot points or characters with them. Set in a futuristic Earth mega-city dominated by corporations, the series follows two detectives from the CPB as they grapple with crimes involving advanced technology. Filmed in Toronto, this Canadian-German co-production aired for one season consisting of 22 episodes.
