Stefanie Estes, born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, is an accomplished actress known for her roles in various films and TV series. She graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA and honed her skills at David Mamet's Atlantic Theater Company. After graduating, she was selected as one of 25 emerging artists for the Old Vic New Voices program in New York. Estes has appeared on Amazon's 'Tales From the Loop', FX's 'Legion', and Crypt TV's 'Sunny Family Cult'. She has also played leading roles in independent films like 'Mary Last Seen' (Cannes and Sundance), 'Bethany', and 'When Harry Tries to Marry'. Her theater credits include performances at The Public Theater, Ars Nova, NY Theater Workshop, The Atlantic, Theater Row, Blank Theater, Skylight Theater, and A Working Theater in both New York and Los Angeles. Story
In mid-twentieth century America, Alice Mitchell works as a street prostitute and struggles with her estrangement from her family due to her homosexuality. After her situation worsens, she seeks refuge at a Christian household where she wins over the family by adopting their faith falsely, despite opposition from Lillian, the in-law. While there, Alice becomes infatuated with Annabel, the family's daughter.
