Tamara Marthe, better known as Shy'm, born November 28, 1985 in Trappes, France, is a French singer of Metropolitan French and Martinican descent. She started singing and dancing at an early age, earning the nickname 'Spicy Tam'. Despite her shyness, she overcame her fears to pursue music, with her stage name Shy'm being a portmanteau derived from 'shy' and 'Martinique'. She released her debut album 'Mes fantaisies' in 2006, followed by six more albums. Shy'm won the second season of Danse avec les stars in 2011 and joined Les Enfoirés charity ensemble in 2012. Her music style ranges from R&B to pop with synthpop influences.
