Full Biography

Emily Cox was born in Vienna to British and Irish parents, both pianists who had moved there on a grant. She grew up in Vienna and graduated from high school in 2003. After discovering her interest in acting during English classes, she studied at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and worked as a stage actor at Theater in der Josefstadt. In 2011, Cox moved to Berlin where she has since appeared in various movies and TV series, including 'Tatort' and 'The Last Kingdom', where she plays Brida.
